About the role

The College of Arts and Sciences at Carroll University seeks to hire Adjunct Instructor(s) of Environmental Science. Applicants should indicate the course(s) and section(s) they are interested and available to teach in the application's additional comments field and/or their cover letter.

Responsibilities

  • Teach ENV 105L | Earth Science Laboratory
  • Teach two sections: Section B (1:00 p.m. - 3:50 p.m., Tuesdays, On Campus) and Section C (4:00 p.m. - 6:50 p.m., Tuesdays, On Campus)
  • Lead laboratory sessions focusing on earth materials, internal processes, external processes, and atmospheric structure and processes
  • Interpret and analyze the major components of the earth's natural environment

Qualifications

  • A degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) preferred
  • Official transcripts due upon hire
