Adjunct Instructor of Economics

About the role

Meredith College School of Business is seeking an adjunct instructor for two sections of ECO-100 Principles of Macroeconomics.

Responsibilities

• Teach one in-person and one online asynchronous section of ECO-100 Principles of Macroeconomics.
• The course covers economic growth, the business cycle, unemployment, the price system, monetary and fiscal policy, international trade and finance, and the impact of international events and policies on the domestic economy.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited institution (preferred)
• Masters in Economics from an accredited institution
• At least 30 graduate credit hours completed for students who are in graduate study in Economics from an accredited institution
• Proven track record of effective teaching
• Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills
• Live in the state of North Carolina and available to teach face-to-face on-campus
