Adjunct Instructor of Computer Science

Duties/Responsibilities

• Teach at the undergraduate level in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
• Preferred candidates must hold a Master's degree or a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
• Desired areas of interest include artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile applications development.

Education and Experience

• Applicants should have a Master's degree or a PhD in computer science.
• A strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school is required.
• Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
• A record of research and publication is desirable.
• The candidate must be prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune- Cookman University.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune- Cookman University.
• Must be prepared to work in a liberal arts environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to teaching at a liberal arts institution.

Skills

• Strong teaching skills.
• Experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile applications development is preferred.
