About the role
The Department of Music is seeking Adjunct Instructors with expertise in teaching applied Voice, Woodwinds, Brass, Strings, Percussion, and/or Piano.
Responsibilities
- Teach to both music majors and minors
- Teach additional classes as assigned
- Participate in musical events as needed
Qualifications
- Successful candidates will have earned the MM, DMA, or Ph.D. in their respective discipline, or commensurate professional experience
- Demonstrated expertise, a distinguished record, and excellence in teaching in the discipline
- Prior collegiate-level teaching experience, preferred
- Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community
- Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to express how Christian faith enriches, guides, and undergirds an understanding of music
