Adjunct Instructor - Math & Physics

About the role

The Department of Math and Physics invites adjunct faculty to teach Concepts in Algebra, Basic Statistics, and Applied Statistics for Engineering in Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures in a classroom setting
• Administer exams
• Grade students’ assignments

Qualifications

• Hold at least a MS in Mathematics or a related field
• College-level teaching experience and experience utilizing learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and technology in the classroom is highly desirable

Pay

• Minimum: $5,000 per 4‑credit course
• Minimum: $3,750 per lab section
• Actual pay offered will be determined based on candidate qualifications, prior experience, scope of responsibilities, internal equity, and market considerations

• Concepts in Algebra (MTH 1000):
  • Section D: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:45 AM – 11:00 AM
