Adjunct Instructor, Introductory Physics
Job Description
Candidates must be qualified to teach "Physics 101," an introductory algebra-based physics course. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom.
Qualifications
- M.A., Ph.D. (or ABD) in Physics or related field.
Responsibilities
This Fall semester course will be offered in person on our East Falls campus: There are three available sections:
- TR 10.15–12.15pm
- TR 8.30-10.45am
- MWF 11.30-1.00pm
Classes begin on August 24 and final grades are due by December 21.

Candidates should submit a letter of application detailing experiences and areas of academic specialization and a curriculum vitae. Additional materials may be requested at a later date.
Review Process
Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
