Adjunct Instructor - Hilbert Blueprint Program
About the role
The Hilbert Blueprint Program seeks adjunct instructors for its four courses: BLU 101: Foundations Seminar, BLU 151: Public Speaking, BLU 201: Service Learning and Civic Engagement, and BLU 301: Junior Symposium. Courses assist freshmen and sophomores in various aspects including academic skill building, wellness, community engagement, and civic dialogue.
Responsibilities
Instructors are responsible for delivering in-person and/or online classes, providing academic guidance, fostering a supportive learning environment, and engaging students in discussions on current affairs and civic engagement.
Requirements/Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Communications, English, History, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field
- Prior college teaching experience in a General Education setting is preferred
Appointment/Start Date
Applications will be reviewed each semester as needed. Appointment/Start Date: Positions are filled based on availability and departmental needs.
Benefits
No benefits are offered at this time.
Pay
$2,500 for in-person undergraduate courses; $1,600 for online undergraduate 7.5 week courses.
