Position Summary
Responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Geography using various teaching formats, including: Colleges & Universities On-campus (on-ground), Online, Hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses using approved delivery formats
- Use the College Learning Management System for course materials
- Submit updated department syllabus before the first day of class
- Respond to messages within 48 hours (excluding weekends)
- Complete required reports such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress, grade submissions, and surveys by deadlines
- Submit final grades within the Registrar’s deadline
- Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in Geography
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Geography
- Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Experience with different instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching
- Effective communication and collaborative skills with diverse student, faculty, and staff populations
- Geographic Reference Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Rate of Pay
$650.00 – $740.00 per credit hour
