Adjunct Instructor, English Composition and/or Humanities

About the role

The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty to teach classes in its first-year English Composition sequence and its interdisciplinary Humanities program.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate level classes in the first-year English Composition sequence and the interdisciplinary Humanities program.
• Occasionally meet with the department faculty or administration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, Ph.D., or Juris Doctorate required, with at least 18 graduate level credits in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in the discipline.
• Colege-level teaching experience, preferred.
• Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
• Must have a Christian commitment along with the ability to intentionally integrate Christian faith in coursework.
