Adjunct Instructor (Engineering Emphasis), Department of Chemistry, Physics & Engineering

Responsibilities

• Teach engineering courses such as CAD, Solid Works and/or Electrical Circuits which are required for our Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering.
• Attend some mandatory university and department meetings.
• Collect assessment data for the courses under your instruction.
• Hold office hours for your students.
• Teach day and/or night classes as well as online courses.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• For courses taught in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering, a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of engineering is required plus a minimum of 18 or more graduate hours in engineering OR three years of tested experience in the field of engineering.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A Master’s Degree in Engineering

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
