Adjunct Instructor - Cosmetology

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students within the assigned and approved instructional delivery system, adhering to the district’s mission, goals, policies, and procedures.
• Create and maintain an active learning environment that enables students to demonstrate course competencies.
• Develop a student‑centered learning experience that places learning at the core of educational activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree and Wisconsin Cosmetology license (required).
• Cosmetology instructor certificate/license (preferred).
• 12 months of occupational experience (non‑educational) for academic subject instructors.
• 24 months of directly related occupational experience for occupational subject instructors.
• At least one year of occupational experience within the past five years.
• Previous teaching experience (desirable).
• Appropriate technical/occupational licensure where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing nail enhancements, including acrylic and/or gel systems.
• Experience with nail art and current nail design techniques.
• Experience performing electric file techniques.

Schedule

Work schedule will include day, night, and Saturday shifts.
