Adjunct Finance Instructor

About the role

The Department of Finance at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park) seeks to hire adjunct instructors to teach finance courses in the spring 2027 semester. The positions are part-time, limited term, non-tenure track positions with teaching between January and May 2027. Appointments may be renewed based on department need. Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Responsibilities

• Teach finance courses predominantly at the undergraduate level (onsite).
• Deliver excellent teaching of rigorous courses that incorporate the responsible use of AI.
• Work effectively with talented faculty and students and contribute to a vibrant and collegial environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a Ph.D, MBA, or a master’s degree in finance or a closely related field at the time of hiring.
