College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty members to teach Welding in a multicultural environment, supporting student success and diverse learning abilities. Opportunities may include flexible scheduling with assignments during days, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings (face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats).
- Student evaluation and timely submission of required instructional paperwork.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field or one of the following:
- Associate’s degree in Welding with significant teaching experience.
- Minimum of 12 credit hours in higher education with technical formalized industry education, industrial certifications, and/or 2,000 hours of documented industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in the field or a Bachelor’s degree with technical formalized industry education, certification, and/or experience.
- Ability to teach remotely using technology; experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
- Access to personal technology, including a home computer with appropriate capabilities for online instruction.
- A pre-employment background check (at the College’s expense) is required.
Pay
These positions are compensated via stipends for course assignments.
