The County College of Morris seeks enthusiastic and qualified adjunct instructors to teach Spanish language courses. We are looking for individuals passionate about fostering language acquisition and cultural understanding. All adjunct faculty positions have as their primary objective to create a dynamic teaching/learning environment for our students, while contributing service to the college. Adjunct faculty responsibilities include teaching assigned courses and following the course description and course outline established by the department. Teaching schedules may include day/evening courses and online/hybrid instruction.
- Teaching Schedules: Monday – Thursday, between 9:30am to 3:30pm
Qualifications - Education
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Literature, Latin American or European Area Studies, or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Qualifications - Experience
- Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
Qualifications - Skills
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
- Demonstrated knowledge of language teaching and learning methodologies and techniques.
- Familiarity with Blackboard and other instructional technologies desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
