About the role
The College of DuPage (COD) seeks Adjunct Faculty to teach Radiography (DMIR) courses. This role contributes to COD's mission of academic excellence, inclusivity, and student success. Candidates must be passionate about mentoring diverse learners and committed to fostering success in both classroom and clinical settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Radiography courses aligned with COD’s curriculum and accreditation standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments that promote student engagement and success.
- Support and evaluate students in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices, including remote and hybrid instruction when applicable.
- Maintain professional standards in recordkeeping, attendance, and grade submissions.
- Contribute to the college’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiography or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in Radiography.
- Experience working with Radiography students in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
- Prior teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited program preferred.
- Certification in Radiography (ARRT).
- Illinois Licensure through the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
Compensation
Adjunct faculty positions are stipend-based and compensated per assigned course.
