Adjunct Faculty, Radiography

Job Description

Teaches a variety of radiography courses related to the Radiologic Technology discipline including, but not limited to radiographic positioning, patient care, image acquisition and evaluation, pathology, physics and imaging modalities (e.g. interventional radiography, CT, MRI, mammography, etc.).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Current radiography certification [R.T.(R)] through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Ohio Radiologic License
• Two years documented clinical experience in the professional discipline
• Proficiency or the ability to become proficient in learning management systems (e.g. Blackboard) and instructional technologies
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)
• Advanced communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and organizational skills
• Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of the community

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience

Special Note

This is a part-time (adjunct) faculty position. Candidates will be interviewed and hired on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year.

Pay

$942.00/Equated Semester Unit (ESU).
