About the role
The Psychology Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for an in-person adjunct faculty position for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 semesters. The candidate(s) would teach General Psychology on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2–3:45 pm and/or 4–5:45 pm. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver course content for credit courses (50%).
- Prepare lesson plans and course materials.
- Assess student learning.
- Assign grades and refer students to support services.
- Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students.
- Abide by USNH and KSC policies; participate in appropriate department/unit meetings (5%).
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology (PhD given preference).
- Relevant teaching experience in general psychology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Canvas LMS.
Pay
$800 per credit or $840 per credit with terminal degree.
