Adjunct Faculty Psychology
Duties And Responsibilities
- Attend and lead all required class sessions
- Promptly assess student coursework and submit via Brightspace (the university’s learning management system)
- Coordinate with Division Chair and/or Academic Dean regarding classroom or student issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
- According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
- Education: Master’s degree in Psychology or related field, or Bachelor’s plus equivalent work experience
- Experience: At least two (2) years field experience

- Interpersonal skills that facilitate relationship building and teamwork among colleagues and students
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to students in oral and written form
- Proficiency in using computers, internet resources, MS Office and Learning Management software

- Speech clarity
- Ability to advise, instruct, manage and motivate students for excellence in their academic pursuits
- Ability to effectively work with students, faculty, and support staff in a professional manner
