Adjunct Faculty - PPP Sophomore Year Politics and Power Block

About the role

Xavier University is seeking qualified candidates to join its pool of potential adjunct faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year. This posting is specifically for a part-time, non-tenure-track position as an Adjunct Instructor in Philosophy, Politics and the Public.

Responsibilities

• Teach PPUB 210: Campaign, Politics and Media in the fall
• Teach PPUB 211: Public Policy Practice in the spring

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience in the field of politics and civic engagement, including but not limited to: legislative work; policy advocacy or fundraising; campaign work; nonprofit policy work, etc.
• A qualified candidate might hold a M.A. or Ph.D. in a field related to the above work.
