Adjunct Faculty Pool in Mathematics

Position Overview

The Department of Applied Mathematics at Florida Polytechnic University seeks candidates with a master’s degree or doctorate in mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of successful college-level teaching and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach precalculus, calculus, and/or introductory statistics
• Collaborate in highly coordinated courses
• Maintain an up-to-date Canvas course site
• Perform all administrative tasks related to course instruction
• Teach courses at 8:00AM or after 4:00PM (if applicable)

Qualifications

• Evidence of effective college-level teaching
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Prior experience teaching college-level mathematics

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
