Responsibilities

  • Teach developmental and/or college-level courses, including distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.
  • Maintain currency in teaching disciplines and trends in community college education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assist the agency or state government in emergencies as directed by the Governor.

Requirements

  • Expert skills, knowledge, experience, and education in culinary arts, food service management, or related fields.
  • Associates degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or related field.
  • Two years of industry experience.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Two years teaching experience.
  • Management experience in the industry.
  • Experience with online teaching.

  • Associate in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or related field.
  • Two years of industry experience.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Additional considerations include two years teaching experience, management experience in the industry, and experience with online teaching.
