College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach Physical Education-Sport Psychology. Faculty are committed to facilitating and supporting student success in a multicultural environment, working with students of diverse learning abilities.
About the Role
Adjunct faculty instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, including face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats. Responsibilities also include student evaluation and timely submission of required instructional paperwork.
Opportunities may exist for a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver course instruction in Physical Education-Sport Psychology.
- Teach in multiple formats: face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended.
- Evaluate student performance and submit required paperwork accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Sport Psychology or a related field.
- Graduate certificate in Sport Psychology, 3 years’ experience in the field, or a combination of experience and education.
- Must be available to teach on MW mornings (9:30 am – 10:45 am) on campus in the fall.
- Access to personal technology and a home computer capable of supporting online teaching.
- Pre-employment background check required at the College’s expense.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching in higher education preferred.
- Experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
Pay
Compensation is provided via stipends for course assignments.
