About the Role
Harrisburg University of Science and Technology is seeking part-time/adjunct faculty members to teach a graduate-level course in the Master of Nursing program for the Fall 2025 semester and beyond. This position is hybrid, requiring two Saturdays on campus per semester.
The Master of Nursing program is a 14-week Executive Session format for domestic and international students, designed to support improvements and innovations in nursing for the current American healthcare system. Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the program prepares nurses for careers in clinical and non-clinical healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate-level courses in the Master of Nursing program.
- Promote evidence-based practice and strengthen interprofessional communication.
- Foster an overall mindset of professional development in nursing students.
- Cover diverse topics in current trends in nursing.
Requirements
- Unencumbered US RN license.
- Minimum of a Master’s in Nursing; a Doctorate is preferred.
- Experience in evidence-based practice, research practices, clinical leadership, and nursing education.
- Experience teaching related courses.
