Adjunct Faculty - Modern Languages

About the role

The Humanities and Arts Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is regularly seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach Spanish, German, Chinese, and Arabic. Modern Language faculty offer language instruction through introductory courses, intermediate classes, and advanced topic seminars.

Responsibilities

• Offer language instruction through introductory courses, intermediate classes, and advanced topic seminars.
• Demonstrate teaching excellence and versatility as well as an ability to jump into an existing curriculum with creative and critical pedagogical approaches.
• Possess native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, German, Chinese, or Arabic and hold a PhD in an appropriate corresponding discipline.
