*Adjunct Faculty - Medical Imaging
Responsibilities
The Medical Imaging Instructor will teach in MCHP’s Medical Imaging Programs and provide exemplary student support. This faculty position is expected to use a variety of teaching modalities (online, face-to-face, and hybrid) in a variety of settings (didactic and lab), have experience and comfort with academic technology, and be willing to actively engage in innovation. The instructor is tasked with creating effective student learning experiences that support student success.
Qualifications
- Nationally certified and registered in Medical Imaging or expertise in the assigned subjects
- Two (2) or more years of experience in the practice of medical imaging or expertise in the assigned subjects
- Willingness to work according to a flexible schedule (nights and weekends may be required)
- Previous teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- A master’s degree from an accredited university or college is preferred
- Experience in course design, instructional delivery, and the elements of effective teaching and learning
- Familiarity with Quality Matters

Pay Transparency
Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.46 to $38.25. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
