Adjunct Faculty; Liberal Studies Pool

About the Role

North Shore Community College (NSCC) is seeking a pool of qualified adjunct faculty to teach various courses within the Liberal Arts division, including First Year Foundational Literacy, English, History, Sociology, and Speech. Positions are available at the Lynn and Danvers campuses and/or partner high schools in the North Shore area for the Fall 2026 semester.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in the content area
• Grade student work and conduct assessments
• Submit early alerts for student performance

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline of the content area
• Master’s degree
• Must pass a CORI/SORI and/or National background check as a condition of employment

Pay

Minimum salary is $1,397 per credit hour. Actual salary is determined by the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement.
