Adjunct Faculty-Introduction to Radiology

Gannon University’s Physician Assistant Program in Erie, PA seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach the “Introduction to Radiology” course for PA students during the Fall 2026 semester (August 26 – December 18, 2026).

About the role

The course meets in-person for 3 hours per week and covers basic interpretation of radiologic diagnostic images. The faculty member will teach classroom sessions, create test questions, grade assignments, and be available outside of class to answer student questions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person lectures on radiologic image interpretation
• Develop and administer test questions
• Grade student assignments
• Hold office hours to respond to student inquiries

Requirements

• Earned terminal degree
• Relevant clinical experience as a radiology technician, PA-C, or physician
• Current or eligible for Pennsylvania licensure
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to support and promote the University’s inclusive Mission, Catholic identity, and liberal-arts and professional-education traditions

Qualifications

• Preferred: prior teaching experience
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of classroom instruction
