About the role

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach CSCI 109 – Introduction to Computers and Applications in person at our Portland, OR campus.

Responsibilities

  • Teach CSCI 109 – Introduction to Computers and Applications in person at the Portland, OR campus.
  • Provide instruction on skills needed for office productive software, computer networking structures, and internet utilization.
  • Support computer literacy through lectures, discussions, and readings on the computer process, societal impact of computers, emerging technologies, and hardware/software purchasing decisions.

Requirements

  • Doctor’s or Master’s degree in teaching discipline, or a Masters degree with a concentration in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
