Adjunct Faculty in Chemistry

Temporary (fixed-term) adjunct faculty position to establish a pool of applicants for possible future openings in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, General Chemistry, and rare openings in Inorganic and Physical Chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Teaches undergraduate-level coursework and the associated lab components.
• Additional duties as assigned to meet organizational needs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher with at least 15 graduate credits in Chemistry, specializing in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic, or Physical Chemistry; OR completion of 30 hours in an accredited doctoral program.
• Teaching experience at the college or high school level in the area of concentration, or significant professional experience relevant to the teaching area.

Pay

$4,800 per 4-credit course, subject to change.
