Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Facilitate ultrasound scanning laboratory exercises for Campbell University stakeholders including, but not limited to CUSOM undergraduate, CPHS, and affiliated graduate training programs.
- Provide POCUS training according to established ultrasound curricular elements for graduating students.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to Title IX, and Information Security, including but not limited to; HIPAA, FERPA and other state and federal mandates.
Education/Experience
- A Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) Certification from an accredited college or university is required.
- Multiple credentials preferred.
- Preferred experience in instruction of ultrasound.
- Five years of successful academic experience in a medical school and/or institute of higher education is preferred.
- Be a member in good standing in all appropriate professional organizations.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively through both oral and written channels.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Comprehensive computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology.
- Familiarity with/Knowledgeable regarding virtual meeting platforms (such as Zoom), educational platforms (such as Blackboard and Panopto).
- Knowledge of /Proficiency with /Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and standard methods of digital communication, including web/text/chat platforms.
- Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with trustees, faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials and the public.
- Exercise good judgment in complex, new, and/or stressful situations.
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects, and meet set deadlines.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a changing environment.
- Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours and the ability for occasional travel, including overnight stays.
