Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- State of Ohio Firefighter II certification.
- State of Ohio Fire and Emergency Services Instructor II certification.
- State of Ohio Live Fire Instructor certification.
- State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a certified Firefighter II.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent).
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Prior college-level teaching experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science.
- Master’s degree in any field.
Health & Safety
- Participate in periodic meetings with supervisors, divisions, and college committees regarding teaching responsibilities, training, and professional development.

Residency Requirement
