Adjunct Faculty, ELS In-Person - FA26

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach English Language Studies (ELS) in a multicultural environment, supporting student success and diverse learning abilities. Opportunities may include daytime, evening, and weekend classes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, including face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats.
• Evaluate student performance and submit required instructional paperwork accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in TESOL/Applied Linguistics or a Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate credits in TESOL/Applied Linguistics.
• Preference for instructors credentialed to teach composition and available for in-person daytime and evening classes.
• Ability to teach remotely using technology; experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
• Access to personal technology, including a home computer capable of supporting online instruction.
• A pre-employment background check (at the College’s expense) is required.

Pay

Compensation is provided via stipends for assigned courses.
