About the role

The Film Department of SUNY Westchester Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty to teach introductory film production courses on the main campus in Valhalla during morning and afternoon hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver instruction in introductory film production courses to a diverse student body, following established departmental syllabi.
• Provide regular and timely feedback to students and utilize innovative classroom instruction to promote student success.
• Actively participate in all Departmental assessments and classroom management requirements.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Film or a closely related field.
• One year of related experience.
• Experience teaching editing using Final Cut Pro.

Qualifications

Preferred: Minimum of one year's experience teaching film production at the advanced high school or college level.

Pay

$93.84 per hour. No benefits.
