About the role
This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the Design/Drafting Technologies program. The focus of this instructional position will include teaching in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SoildWorks, Revit, CADWorx, Civil 3D, GIS, & SDS2. This will range from fundamental drafting basics to advanced design techniques and 3D printing.
Responsibilities
- Teach in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SoildWorks, Revit, CADWorx, Civil 3D, GIS, & SDS2
- Teach fundamental drafting basics to advanced design techniques and 3D printing
- Collaborate with various constituencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university; master’s degree preferred
- Five (5) years documented successful work experience in related industry
- Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies
Experience
- Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required if performing the functions of the position requires the use of a personal or university vehicle
Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge
- Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complex initiatives
- Must be skilled in the use of appropriate software and technology related to design and drafting
- Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary
- Ability to maintain high standards of work, initiative, commitment, ethics, professional responsibility and judgment
- Superior interpersonal skills—including the ability to effectively recognize and resolve complex problems in a constructive manner

Education
- Master's degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university (preferred)
