Adjunct Faculty, Dental Hygiene - FA26
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
- Teaching in various delivery modes including face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
- Student evaluation and timely submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in the field or a combination of education, training, and tested experience for didactic courses.
- A minimum of an associate's degree in applied sciences/dental hygiene for lab and clinic courses.
- Experience in teaching dental assistant or dental hygiene students.
- Minimum 3 years clinical dental hygiene experience.
- Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current dental hygiene license in the State of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR intended for healthcare providers.
- Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
- Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
Pay
Positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
Schedule
Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include teaching assignments during days, evenings and weekends.
