Adjunct Faculty, Continuing Education - Gardening

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach non-credit, adult enrichment Gardening courses. Instructors will facilitate learning in a multicultural environment and support students with diverse abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction in classroom, lab, or online settings (face-to-face, hybrid, or blended formats).
• Evaluate student performance and submit required paperwork accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience teaching adults (preferred).
• Ability to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn and satellite campuses.
• Experience with online or virtual teaching and access to personal technology (home computer) required for remote instruction.
• Courses meet once a week for 3 hours (weekday evenings or Saturday mornings) over 1–4 weeks.

Schedule

• Flexible assignments, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Courses run for 1–4 weeks, typically once per week for 3 hours.

Pay

Paid by stipends for course assignments.
