About the role

Indiana Tech is seeking adjunct faculty members for Criminal Justice related courses within the College of Arts and Sciences. Courses may include legal studies, homeland security, and emergency response, among others.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with students in a manner that optimizes student success in multiple modalities.
  • Deliver engaging and effective courses to meet the program learning outcomes.
  • Work with a diverse student population.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field, required.
  • JD required for legal studies related courses, but not required for other CJ courses.
  • College level teaching experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated evidence of engaging and motivating students.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.

Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a classroom environment. The position remains open until filled; a review of candidates will commence as application materials are received.
