Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry

About the role

Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions for chemistry adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends.
• Teach at the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed.

Requirements

• Masters in the field or Masters with 18 graduate credits in the field.
• The ability to use instructional technology is required.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools.
• College level teaching experience, online experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
• The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.

Pay

The credit hour pay range is $794.00-$1,375.50.
