About the role
The Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences seeks an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Physics and Astronomy to teach introductory algebra-based astronomy courses with a lab component, primarily serving non-science majors. Courses are conducted in-person only.
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory algebra-based astronomy lecture with lab component.
Requirements
- MS/MA in physics, astronomy, or a related STEM field.
- Teaching experience (preferred).
- PhD in physics or astronomy (preferred).
