Adjunct English Instructor
Job Responsibilities
Teach courses in English in accordance with the established syllabi to a diverse student body; instruction includes assessment of the program's instructional needs, assist in the planning and delivery necessary to meet those needs, and evaluation.
Participate in instructional development activities within the department.
Maintain established posted office hours.
Requirements
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Commitment to teaching/learning and college mission.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and others in the college community and to work in teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience at the two-year college level is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in ENG/ENGL prefix courses.
