Adjunct English Composition Instructor

About the Role

Jersey College is seeking an English Composition Instructor to join our nursing program. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success in a higher education environment.

Schedule

Tuesday and Wednesday, 1:00 PM – 3:15 PM

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Performing other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required
