Adjunct – Electrical and Automation Technology
Position Summary
Adjunct instructor teaching courses within the robotics curriculum. Classes will be day or evening at the Niles, Michigan campus and may include industrial robotics, electronics, digital electronics, or other related subjects.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Robotics or equivalent and field or work experience as a Controls Engineer or similar position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- Teaching experience including the delivery of online (remote) instruction.
- FANUC Certification
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Adjunct faculty will teach materials in an engaging and interactive manner to students.
Teach courses during the hours outlined for the course
Grade homework, quizzes, tests, final exams, and student labs
Document grades in Learning Management System (Moodle)
Perform final outcomes assessment with course leader.
Special Instructions to Applicants
All applicants must demonstrate the ability to promote active and collaborative learning through a variety of teaching methods, as well as relate to students. Excellent organization and communication skills as well as the demonstrated use of instructional technology are required.
