Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Placement Manager MSN-NL and RN-BSN Programs
About the role
The Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science at the University of San Diego (USD) invites applications for a full time Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track). The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance, department needs, and funding.
Responsibilities
- Teach Nursing Leadership courses
- Develop and implement clinical placement programs in the greater San Diego area
- Assist in curriculum development and assessment
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing leadership practices and trends
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) from an accredited school of nursing program
- California RN license
- Two years of teaching experience in a nursing program
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an earned master’s or doctoral degree in nursing, and experience teaching Nursing Leadership and knowledge of clinical placements in the greater San Diego area.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in using educational technology tools.

Pay
$7,083 - $7,500/Monthly: Excellent Benefits
Schedule
Full-time temporary, benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of August 31, 2027. The appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding.
