Adjunct Assistant Professor, Plumbing Technology
About the role
The Plumbing Technology program is seeking qualified candidates for Adjunct Assistant Professor to teach such topics as plumbing theory, print reading, residential and commercial plumbing and plumbing code. Most courses include laboratory and lecture sections, and are offered during the evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate plumbing and construction industry knowledge
- Use various presentation methods to lecture and demonstrate within a class or lab environment to diverse audiences
- Be capable of working safely with a variety of plumbing tools and installation operations in a lab environment
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- 7 years of plumbing field experience and current Journeyman License OR 5 years of plumbing field experience and current Journeyman License with AAS degree
Requirements

- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or advanced degree plus a minimum of 3 years experience working in the plumbing industry, Master plumbers license, Teaching or training experience
