Adjunct Assistant Professor, Construction Management
Position Summary
Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is seeking an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the Construction Management Department. The position offers opportunities to teach core construction management courses or OSHA 30 for general industry and construction safety. Candidates will be evaluated based on departmental needs.
Required Qualifications
For teaching core Construction Management courses: Associate's degree with 5 years work experience in the field OR Bachelor's degree with 3 years work experience in the field.
For teaching OSHA 30: Current OSHA authorization for teaching OSHA 30 for either general industry or construction, or the ability to renew authorization prior to the first day of classes taught.
Preferred Qualifications
For teaching core Construction Management courses: Prior experience in teaching at the College level in Construction Management, Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or closely-related field, Experience with BIM software, Experience with MS Project, Direct experience in Construction Management, covering all phases from RFP/bidding to execution of completed projects, Experience in one or more construction-related trades.
For teaching OSHA 30: Prior college teaching experience.
