About the role
Bushnell University is interviewing for adjunct instructor positions across various departments. A Doctorate is preferred but a Master's degree with significant experience is considered. Both graduate and undergraduate instructors are welcome. Positions require a strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity, and candidates must demonstrate a vibrant and maturing Christian faith through their personal Statement of Faith.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in accordance with Bushnell University’s curriculum
- Engage in ongoing professional development and collaboration with peers
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees
- Adhere to FERPA guidelines and maintain student confidentiality
- Contribute to the Bushnell Theological Context for Community statement
Requirements
- A Doctorate or Master's degree with significant experience in the teaching field
- A strong commitment to multiculturalism and diversity
- A vibrant and maturing Christian faith
- Able to work in a non-smoking, drug-free environment
- Able to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and in writing
- Able to listen and speak clearly
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed

- Experience in higher education
- Ability to work in a Christian environment
