Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including patient assessment, development of a plan of care, and organizing and instituting such plan within a multi‑disciplinary team approach for patients with an identified substance use disorder.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or related behavioral health field (required).
• Experience: One year previous experience in a clinical setting working with substance use disorders patients (required).
• Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Psychologist (PhD), or application for a provisional license with completed degree requirements; provisional license must be obtained within 120 days of hire (required). Preferred: Certification with the State of Missouri as an Addictions Counselor.

• Fundamental knowledge of addictions, community support systems, and varying treatment philosophies, combined with the ability to teach and impart knowledge to others.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Day Shift).
