Addictions Counselor - Full Time - Crownsville MD

Qualifications

• Maryland Education/ Licensure Requirements: All counseling candidates must have, at minimum, an Alcohol and Drug Trainee certification (ADT) through the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LGPC, LCPC, LCADC or LICSW/LCSW preferred.
• Compensation Range: $55,000 - 72,000 based upon education, credentials & experience!
• Work Schedule: Flexible start and end times with either an 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm schedule Monday through Friday with some flexibility for weekends and or Holiday.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for a caseload of clients, as identified by program requirements and in accordance with state regulations.
• Complete required evaluations and assessments, including screening, intake, clinical assessments, ASAM and biopsychosocial histories.
• Compete individual treatment plans upon client's admission.
• Document all clinical services and interventions performed within the client's electronic health record and complete monthly treatment reports.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records on each client and ensure the timely completion of tasks, within 24 hours of service deliver, no later than 72 hours of service delivery.
• Conduct individual and group sessions based on client's treatment plan goals and level of care.
• Participate in funding source reviews and make recommendations for treatment and lengths of stay.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Cookordinate with agency and community resources to ensure a thorough treatment plan.
• Assist clients with developing a discharge/continuing care plan and connecting to resources needed to reach personal goals both during the course of treatment and in advance to their discharge.
• Follow up with clients after discharge based on regulatory guidelines until they have been established with other case management/social services.
