About the role
The Addiction Therapist provides emotional or mental health therapy or counseling in an outpatient setting, facilitates therapy sessions for patients, assesses mental or emotional disorders, gathers and interprets social, personal, environmental, and health information, develops treatment plans and individual goals, and modifies plans over time in response to patient progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, or Social Work (Required)
- 2 years experience in the clinical field (Required)
- 2 years experience in treating patients with addiction (Required)
Qualifications
- PA Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (Preferred)
- PA Licensed Professional Counselor (Preferred)
