About the role
This position offers a unique blend of clinical care, teaching, and academic involvement. You will provide patient care in a busy addiction treatment clinic where addiction medicine physicians and addiction psychiatrists collaborate, while also teaching fellows, psychiatry residents, family medicine residents, and third-year medical students.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a busy addiction treatment clinic
- Collaborate with addiction medicine physicians and psychiatrists
- Teach fellows, psychiatry residents, family medicine residents, and third-year medical students
- Lead the Addiction Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service
- Contribute to the ACGME-accredited Addiction Medicine Fellowship
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be MD/DO (or equivalent degree) and is board certified/board eligible in addiction medicine.
